Instructions for Use:
Step 1: Preparation
Work in an ESD-protected area if possible.
Ensure the bag and your hands are clean and dry.
Verify the bag is marked "PINK ANTISTATIC BAG" and has the static shielding label.
Step 2: Filling the Bag
Gently place the ESD-sensitive component into the bag.
Do not overfill. Leave enough space at the top for proper sealing (at least 1 inch/2.5 cm).
Avoid sliding components against the bag's inner surface to minimize static generation.
Step 3: Sealing
For secure closure, use a standard heat sealer.
Recommended settings: Temperature 130-150°C, dwell time 0.5-1.5 seconds.
Ensure the seal is complete and uniform across the entire width of the bag.
Step 4: Storage and Handling
Store sealed bags in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from strong static fields and sources of friction.
For maximum protection, store bags in static-shielding containers or Faraday cages.
Step 5: Quality Control
Regularly inspect bags for damage or tears before use.
Do not reuse bags that have been previously sealed and opened, as this may compromise their protective properties.
The anti-static properties are permanent and do not diminish over time.
Additional Notes:
The pink color provides immediate visual identification of ESD-safe packaging.
The printed warnings serve as reminders for proper handling procedures.
These bags are suitable for both short-term and long-term storage of sensitive components.
