1. Introduction

Congratulations on selecting this professional ESD Wired Mouse. It is engineered for use in Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protected Areas (EPAs) such as electronics manufacturing, repair labs, and cleanrooms. Its static dissipative materials (surface resistance 10-10 Ω) are designed to work as part of a complete ESD control system to prevent damage to sensitive electronic components.

2. Critical Safety & ESD Warning
IMPORTANT: This mouse is a static dissipative device. It is NOT a primary grounding path.

• You MUST wear a properly functioning and grounded wrist strap connected to the EPA's common ground point at all times.

• The mouse must be used on a grounded ESD worksurface (mat).

• The ESD protection is achieved through the combined system of the grounded user (you) -> the mouse (dissipative) -> the grounded ESD mat.

• Failure to use personal grounding (wrist strap) will render the ESD mouse ineffective and may lead to component damage.

4. Installation & Setup

1. Prepare Your EPA Workstation: Ensure your ESD mat is properly grounded and you are wearing your grounded wrist strap.

2. Connect: Plug the mouse's USB connector directly into an available USB port on your computer or workstation.

3. Driver: Most operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) will automatically install the necessary drivers. No software is needed for basic operation.

4. Placement: Place the mouse directly on the grounded ESD mat. Do not use it on regular mouse pads or un-grounded surfaces, as this can compromise ESD protection.

5. Operation
